Graphic 45 "A Ladies Diary" Card For A Man

Hi folks! I've been a g45 "A Ladies Diary" fool this week! Here's a keepsake card fit for a man.

There's a lot of machine sewing, as usual for me. The man is triple layered - the bottom being the base image and the top is his hat, belt, collar and tie, cuff, and some of the golf clubs.

The scrollwork is Dusty Attic chipboard painted dark brown, and the gears are wood colored with ink and sealed.

I got a kick out of using the "Thoughts" panel for the greeting area. You know, 'cause generally speaking men don't share thoughts and get touchy feely.

Here's the matching box.

That's it for this keepsake card. I'm keeping it simple for the men-folk... (and *that* was a joke.)

We have a lot of pine pollen here and this seems to be one of the years I have allergies. I checked the pollen.com site and the pollen count is high for the next few days. Ugh. Looks like I'll be zombie'd out with tissues and throat lozenges for a while. I hope you're weekend is much better than mine! :)

Cheers,
Susan

New Graphic 45 "A Ladies Diary" Keepsake Cards, Ready For Art Asylum

Hi friends!

I've been working on new Graphic 45 "A Ladies Diary" cards. *gasp* I know! I haven't made greeting cards in a while and I'm having a blast!

These cards --and so much more!-- will be at Art Asylum on May 9th, an annual show hosted by The Queen's Ink in Savage, Maryland.

Wouldn't this be a lovely Mother's Day keepsake card?

Here's one that would make a great wedding card!

A close-up of the front -- both cards are layered.

Thanks for visiting today! It would be great to know if you can come out to the Art Asylum show. We had a great time last year and I'm looking forward to all the great customers and vendors again!

Cheers,
Susan
